Description

Handmade wood carving (sculpture) of a Least Sandpiper Decoy.  The bird is life-size and measures 6.5″ high and 7.5″ long.
I carved this shorebird from Tupelo wood. This is a decoy style carving. The bird is sanded smooth, a base coat of texture paint is applied. The feather detail is created by a combination of airbrush and hand painting techniques.
All our wood carvings are made in our art studio here in the coastal bend of Texas.
