You are looking at a painted Tupelo Wood Carving (sculpture) of a Sugar Maple Leaf Pin. The pride of many Northern States is the beautiful fall colors, the dark green of the evergreens accented with the red to yellow leaves of the sugar maple.  Width 2.25 inches., Height 1.75 inches.
I usually sculpt large display pieces of wildfowl or fish, but every now and then create a personal piece such as a brooch, pendant or magnet.
All our art is made in our art studio here in the Coastal Bend of Texas.
